PROJECT
LOCATION
The challenge is in creating an environment that can fulfil its contrasting needs while providing opportunities for innovative design solutions. Following the Geylang urban design guidelines, the building massing is modelled such that it abuts the front and back boundary of the site. This opens the central air well with well-ventilated corridors. Sustainable feature such as the façade screening is integrated as a unique element with screens of different widths and lengths to break up the monotony of facade.
The entrance of the building is segregated subtly yet effectively, with the use of feature wall and lush greenery to serve as visual statement for arrival. The building is modern and forward looking, giving a new lease of life to the traditional image of clan association.
