The Boon Lay MRT extension consists of the Pioneer and Joo Koon Stations which join the existing Boon Lay station. Both new stations are designed as above-ground stations with universal design considerations for barrier-free accessibility and user-friendly features. The canopy above platform level is composed by a series of dome-shaped metal roofs punctuated

with distinct skylights to allow generous amount of natural light to filter into the station.

Similar to Contract 823, 3PA provided its service in ensuring that all authorities' requirements are fulfilled and that the design and relevant installations are properly executed on site.
