PROJECT

Yishun Spring Vue

LOCATION

Yishun Street 42, Singapore

Nestled within the profusely diverse heritage of Lower Seletar Reservoir and Sungei Khatib Bongsu, Yishun Spring Vue is envisioned as a bridge between the two sanctuaries for both nature lovers and the new residents.

It is inspired by memories of the last surviving kelong at Seletar Fishing Village. The ‘River’ of Life flows seamlessly through development and beyond, linking all communal amenities in a buoyant landscape of the modern stilted community, embraced by nature, sky and water.

Embraced by the rustic beauty of the surrounding greenery, rivers and reservoir, the development is designed with maximum views to the lush nature and internal landscaped courtyards. Within the “river of life” flowing through the development and beyond, new community buds blossom in full spring splendor.

Along Yishun Street 42, a bio-retention rain garden is designed to beautify the precinct arrival and to help cleanse surface runoff before it discharges into the public drain;

continuing its journey, the garden flows through the landscaped void deck of the adjacent block to link to the central courtyard.

As the “village centre” of the development, the central courtyard provides spillover space for the precinct pavilion and rcc, 2 playgrounds for the cc and intergenerational facilities for all users.

The landscaped corridor flows seamlessly to the main garden courtyard under a landmark skybridge connecting the mscp roof garden to the adjacent blocks. This provides an elevated sky greenery for the development with more communal space for exercise, taiji and social interaction to foster community bonding.
